César Zembla: vocals; toy horns; loops Ondina: vocals; toy horns Antonio Manzarra: guitar Nuno Maltês: bass; guitar Sérgio Lemos : drums, loops The Great Lesbian Show is an uncommitted Portuguese band: we do what we want, the way we want to do it. The band hasn’t got any rigid aesthetic direction, we prefer to absorb the quintessence of all interesting sounds and creative references. So, we can define The Great Lesbian Show as an exquisite cocktail of several decades of rock’n’roll (and everything around) , comics and cartoons, “incredibly strange music”, bizarre tales of everyday life, alternative films, literature, etc. Some of the members of The Great Lesbian Show have acquired musical and artistic experience in other bands and projects: Ondina was a member of the first line-up of Pop Dell’Arte (she played drums and sang); Sérgio Lemos plays drums/guitar in different groups such as Lolly and Brains and Duendes do Umbigo; Nuno Maltês played guitar/bass in several bands and experimental projects; António Manzarra played guitar and sang with Us Forretas Ocultos; César Zembla directed two short-cut movies and starred in some others.
